Bluebird Programs of the Carolinas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by cancer through connection, encouragement, and meaningful experiences. Our programs are designed to nurture the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — while creating a strong sense of community among those who share similar journeys.
Bluebird Programs was formed in 2025 to expand and sustain the long-standing tradition of Camp Bluebird, ensuring that cancer survivors continue to have access to restorative retreats and supportive programming. What began as a beloved local program has grown into a mission-driven nonprofit committed to serving participants from across the region and beyond.
At the heart of Bluebird Programs is the belief that healing happens not only through medical care, but also through connection, creativity, education, and time spent in a compassionate community. Through Camp Bluebird and future programs, we strive to create spaces where individuals can find hope, renewal, friendship, and joy.
